Asiatic elephants at Jim Corbett National Park, India.
The Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) is the most effective final species of the genus Elephas. The dwindling population is distributed throughout Southeast Asia, which include India and Nepal. Studies tell us that the Asian elephant herds are typically smaller than the African variety, with adolescent bull men frequently going away solitary, whilst a small herd of about 3 female elephants can usually be visible with the calves. Thats lucky for our little friend here, who looks like he has no purpose of leaving the own family any time quickly!
