Buzz Aldrin's boot on lunar soil

These boots had been made for moonwalking. On July 21, 1969, astronaut Buzz Aldrin made records whilst he became the second guy to stroll on the moon, proclaiming beautiful view as he stepped onto the lunar surface. Standing close to Neil Armstrong, who were given those fortunate first steps, he went on to explain the scene as extraordinary desolation. With this historical image were marking the begin of World Space Week, an event discovered round the sector. The begin of the observance is timed to coincide with the anniversary of Sputnik 1, which became released 60 years ago nowadays, ushering within the Space Race. The rest, as they are saying, is history.
